Liverpool Tour Experiences — Our Supply Chain
Partners & Suppliers
The quality of a DMC programme is only as good as the quality of the suppliers behind it. We have spent 27 years building supplier relationships in Liverpool that are based on consistent performance, not just price. Here is how we work — and why it matters to your group.
How We Select and Manage Our Suppliers
Every supplier we use has been selected because we know their work. Not because they responded to a marketplace job post, not because they offered the lowest price, and not because they are the only option. We use Liverpool suppliers we have worked with repeatedly, whose reliability we have observed directly, and whose standards we are confident we can vouch for to our clients.
When we bring a supplier into a programme, we brief them fully. They receive the group details, the timing requirements, any specific needs or sensitivities relevant to the group, and our direct contact for the day. We do not sub-contract and disappear — we remain the accountable party throughout.
Our Supplier Categories
Transport Operators
We own two 16-seater executive minibuses ourselves. For larger group transport — 49-seaters, double-deckers, and specialist accessible vehicles — we work with a small group of Liverpool-based licensed coach operators we have used consistently for years. We know their drivers, their maintenance standards, and their operational reliability. We do not use booking platforms that assign unknown operators.
Licensed Guides
Our guides are Liverpool-based professionals with specific subject expertise — Beatles heritage, football history, maritime history, architecture, cultural regeneration. We have worked with our core guide team for many years. We know how they perform with different group types, which subjects they excel in, and how they handle unexpected situations. For specialist themes, we have additional guides we can bring in with the relevant expertise.
Venues & Hospitality
Hotels, restaurants, event spaces, private dining rooms, and experience venues across Liverpool and Merseyside. We have existing relationships with venues that perform consistently for group bookings — places we can call directly, that know how we operate, and that will look after our clients. We also have access to exclusive and unusual venues that are not straightforwardly bookable without prior relationships.
Attractions & Experience Operators
Liverpool’s museums, galleries, stadiums, heritage sites, and experience operators. We have group booking relationships in place with the major attractions — the Beatles Story, the Museum of Liverpool, Tate Liverpool, and others — allowing us to pre-book, receive trade pricing where applicable, and manage arrival logistics so groups aren’t queueing with the public.
Entertainers & Event Services
For programmes requiring live entertainment, event production, photography, AV support, or specialist activities, we have a network of trusted Liverpool-based providers. Liverpool’s creative economy means the talent pool here is genuinely strong — and we know who to call for what.
Accommodation Partners
Liverpool’s hotel stock has grown significantly in the last decade and now includes internationally branded properties, boutique independents, and serviced apartments suitable for group accommodation. We have group booking relationships with properties across the quality spectrum and can advise on the best fit for your group’s budget and programme requirements.
Our Supplier Standards
Insurance & Licensing
Every transport supplier we use holds appropriate PSV licensing and public liability insurance. Every guide is verified as having appropriate credentials for their category of work. We can provide supplier insurance documentation to corporate procurement teams and public sector buyers on request.
Performance Track Record
We do not use suppliers we have not seen perform. New suppliers are introduced on lower-stakes programmes first and monitored before being brought into premium or complex programmes. Our core supplier relationships are long-standing because those suppliers have consistently met our standards.
Briefed and Accountable
Every supplier going into a programme receives a written brief. Timing, group profile, specific requirements, our emergency contact, and the client’s expectations. We do not leave supplier management to chance or assume they will figure it out from a booking confirmation. We remain the accountable party and we manage accordingly.
Interested in Becoming a Supplier Partner?
If you are a Liverpool-based transport operator, guide, venue, attraction, or event service provider and you would like to be considered as a supply partner for Liverpool Tour Experiences programmes, we welcome approaches from operators who can demonstrate consistent quality and appropriate licensing.
We grow our supplier base selectively and based on genuine need — we are not looking for volume, we are looking for reliability. If you believe your operation would be a strong fit, please get in touch with a brief introduction to your services, your licensing and insurance credentials, and the type of group work you have experience delivering.
